Paris je t’aime, Qiddiya City and French broadcaster OTP will be official partners of the Esports World Cup 2026, scheduled July 8–Aug 9 at VIPARIS venues in Paris.
The Esports Foundation announced Paris je t’aime, Qiddiya City and French broadcaster OTP as official partners for the Esports World Cup 2026. The tournament will be held in Paris from July 8 to August 9 at multiple VIPARIS venues and will stage 25 tournaments across 24 esports titles.
The opening ceremony is set for July 8 at La Seine Musicale and will feature performances by DJ Snake, Aya Nakamura and French artist Theodora. Over seven weeks the Esports World Cup Festival will occupy Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, offering fan club houses, live demos, creator meet-and-greets, cosplay and other community events. A headline showmatch between streamers Inoxtag and Squeezie, hosted by Doigby, is scheduled during the festival.
Qiddiya City is joining as a Founding Partner and will hold naming rights to the Qiddiya City Grid stage. The stage can seat more than 1,000 spectators and will host competitions in Apex Legends, Free Fire, PUBG: Battlegrounds, Call of Duty: Warzone, PUBG MOBILE and Fortnite. Qiddiya City is an entertainment, sports and gaming development near Riyadh that covers more than 500,000 square metres.
Mohammad Al Nimer, Chief Commercial Officer of the Esports Foundation, said: “Saudi Arabia is the home of the Esports World Cup and has established the event as a global platform for esports and gaming culture.” He added that Qiddiya City’s involvement will give fans a sense of the competition’s future and reflects a shared aim to bring together players, clubs, publishers, partners and fans.
OTP (One Trick Production) will be the event’s official French broadcaster. Founded by casters Chips and Noi, OTP focuses on French-language coverage of competitive League of Legends and related esports. The production company reported €2.2 million in revenue in the 14 months after its December 2020 launch. OTP will provide live on-site coverage across its channels from July 8 to August 9 and plans to outline full broadcast details during a livestream timed to the opening ceremony. The planned coverage includes VALORANT, League of Legends, the EA FC Pro Circuit, the Mid-Season Championship and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
The Esports World Cup 2026 will be the first edition held outside Saudi Arabia since the event’s establishment. Organisers say the Paris programme will combine competitive tournaments with fan-focused events across several venues in the city.
