paiN beat NiP 2-0 to reach BLAST Bounty LAN Finals

paiN defeated Ninjas in Pyjamas 2-0 in the BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 qualifier on Saturday, securing a spot at the LAN Finals. The series finished 13-6 on Nuke and 16-14 on Mirage after overtime.

On Nuke, paiN’s defense won the first half 11-1. Ninjas in Pyjamas’ only first-half round came from Roman “n0te” Hamze’s pistol-round ace. NiP took a few rounds in the second half but paiN closed the map 13-6.

Mirage was closer. Ninjas in Pyjamas won the second-half pistol to take a 10-5 lead, but paiN recovered on the Terrorist side as Rafael “saffee” Costa’s AWP pushed the team back into contention. The match went to overtime, where saffee delivered a quad-kill on the B site to finish the map 16-14.

Vinicius “vsm” Moreira led paiN with a 42-31 K-D, 88.8 ADR and a 1.40 rating. Saffee also had 42 kills, going 42-28 with 88.3 ADR and a 1.32 rating. Rodrigo “biguzera” Bittencourt recorded 31-30 with 77.0 ADR and a 1.14 rating. João “snow” Vinicius finished 30-35 with 73.2 ADR and Guilherme “piriajr” Barbosa was 26-32 with 58.0 ADR. For Ninjas in Pyjamas, Roman “n0te” Hamze went 39-37 with 90.6 ADR and a 1.23 rating, Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer had 35-34 with 74.8 ADR and a 1.04 rating. Martin “stavn” Lund was 29-31 (68.5 ADR, 0.99 rating), Kacper “xKacpersky” Gabarax 29-35 (69.0 ADR, 0.80) and Rasmus “sjuush” Beck 24-36 (52.0 ADR, 0.70).

The win sends paiN to the BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 LAN Finals. The team had dropped to No. 30 in the VRS after signing Rafael “saffee” Costa. Ninjas in Pyjamas will play magic later Sunday in the StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 Europe Closed Qualifier for a chance to reach that event’s main bracket.
