NVIDIA Names ZywOo GeForce Ambassador, Highlights RTX 5080

On June 8, Team Vitality Counter-Strike 2 player Mathieu ‘ZywOo’ Herbaut announced a brand ambassador agreement with NVIDIA GeForce on his social media channel and featured the GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card in the post.

The announcement included images of ZywOo’s setup showing the RTX 5080. NVIDIA hardware was already listed among components in his professional settings profiles, and those profiles were updated recently to include the RTX 5080. Neither ZywOo nor NVIDIA disclosed financial terms, the length of the agreement, or whether the deal includes other activities such as content creation, event appearances or product development.

The NVIDIA agreement is ZywOo’s third notable individual sponsorship focused on gaming hardware and peripherals. In May 2025 he became global ambassador for ASUS Republic of Gamers keyboards. In June 2025 he partnered with Pulsar Gaming Gears on a signature gaming mouse that remains part of Pulsar’s product line.

Brands in esports sign both organisation-level deals that cover multiple teams and creators and direct partnerships with individual players. Examples of direct collaborations include the Razer NiKo Collection with Counter-Strike player Nikola ‘NiKo’ Kovač and Red Bull signing VALORANT player Tyson ‘TenZ’ Ngo to its esports roster in June 2025.

Global Esports Industry Week is scheduled for 18–21 June 2026 in Cologne alongside IEM Cologne. NVIDIA and Team Vitality have not confirmed whether ZywOo’s ambassador role will include appearances or promotions tied to that event.

In his announcement, ZywOo called the GeForce RTX 5080 a ‘must-have’. No further contractual details or figures have been released.
