Ninjas in Pyjamas, BC.Game exit CS Asia Championship

Ninjas in Pyjamas and BC.Game were eliminated from the CS Asia Championship in Shanghai on May 21 after losses to Lynn Vision and paiN in lower-bracket matches.
Ninjas in Pyjamas and BC.Game were knocked out of the CS Asia Championship in Shanghai on May 21, both losing in lower-bracket matches. Lynn Vision and paiN advanced and are scheduled to play later Thursday.
Ninjas in Pyjamas dropped a three-map series to Lynn Vision in the lower bracket. On Dust2 Ninjas in Pyjamas recovered from an early deficit after Artem “cairne” Mushynskyi produced an ace clutch and Marco “Snappi” Pfeiffer won a 1v3, but Lynn Vision closed the map on the T side with strong contributions from Lizhi “Starry” Ye. Nuke was a back-and-forth map that sent the series to a decider. On Ancient Lynn Vision’s aggressive, fast-paced approach produced the winning map. Lynn Vision’s Qihao “C4LLM3SU3” Su finished with 49 kills and a 1.27 rating, and Junjie “EmiliaQAQ” Tang had 50 kills and a 1.26 rating. For Ninjas in Pyjamas, new signing Martin “stavn” Lund led the team with 48 kills and a 1.11 rating; several teammates finished below a 1.00 rating.
BC.Game lost a two-map series to paiN on the tournament B stream. paiN opened Dust2 with an 11-3 lead; BC.Game ran a five-round streak late in the map and Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev recorded a three-kill Deagle round, but paiN retained control. Anubis was one-sided and paiN closed the match without a third map, running a long consecutive-round streak to finish 13-4 in the deciding map. Vinicius “vsm” Moreira led paiN with 32 kills and a 1.43 rating, and João “snow” Vinicius had 28 kills and a 1.37 rating. For BC.Game, Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold posted a 1.16 rating and Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev finished with a 1.07 rating.
Lynn Vision will face PARIVISION at 12:00 on May 21 and paiN will meet TYLOO at 12:00 on May 21 in lower-bracket matches; the losers of those matches will be eliminated. Ninjas in Pyjamas will enter the player break after the event while having integrated Martin “stavn” Lund into the starting lineup.
