Niels Topp Joins SkinScanner as Head of Growth
Niels Topp, former GamerPay marketing lead, has joined SkinScanner.gg as head of growth to expand partnerships, increase users and support the SSG Discord of nearly 20,000 CS2 players and traders.
Niels Topp, formerly marketing lead at GamerPay, has joined SkinScanner.gg as head of growth. He announced the appointment on LinkedIn following GamerPay’s shutdown.
At SkinScanner Topp will focus on building partnerships, increasing the user base and overseeing communications, content and business development. He will maintain support for the SSG Discord community, which has nearly 20,000 Counter-Strike 2 players and traders.
In a LinkedIn post he wrote that he had used SkinScanner as a customer and a partner while at GamerPay and that conversations with SkinScanner CEO Joshua Sinclair made joining the company a ‘no-brainer.’
He highlighted the platform’s reporting tools and return-on-investment metrics for CS2 marketplaces, writing that the platform performs well compared with market averages based on his work on both publisher and marketplace sides.
Topp led GamerPay’s marketing team, handling organic social media, SEO, content strategy and paid referral partnerships. He worked as a marketing consultant at Novicell from August 2024 to January 2026 on go-to-market strategy, content production and cross-functional projects. He spent more than five years at Danish broadcaster TV 2 Danmark as a host and commentator, contributing to over 500 broadcast days in cities including Paris, Katowice, Cologne, Copenhagen and Odense.
SkinScanner.gg operates as a search engine and price aggregator for Counter-Strike 2 skins, letting users compare prices across dozens of third-party marketplaces.
Topp’s brief extends beyond traditional marketing duties. He will focus on commercial partnerships and presenting SkinScanner’s analytical reporting to marketplaces and traders while managing content and communications initiatives aimed at improving user retention and engagement.
