MOUZ clinch Porto playoff spot after win over Inner Circle

MOUZ secured third place in BLAST Open Porto Group B after a 2-0 win over Inner Circle, booking a playoff spot at next week’s Super Bock Arena stage. Inner Circle drops to the lower bracket and will face the winner of FUT vs. Lynn Vision. MOUZ will play the winner of Legacy vs. Falcons in the Group B upper-bracket final for a chance at a direct semi-final berth.

The match was played on Ancient and Mirage. MOUZ lost an average of five rounds per map at the event so far. On Ancient, Lotan “Spinx” Giladi led the defense; Inner Circle’s only notable successes on that map were the opening pistol round and a 1v2 clutch by Eduard “zeRRoFIX” Petrovskyi. On Mirage, MOUZ prevented Inner Circle from stringing rounds together and closed the match in two maps.
