MIBR eyes nqz and try after G2 rejects kl1m offer
MIBR is pursuing Lucas ‘nqz’ Soares and Santino ‘try’ Rigal as AWPers after G2 declined their offer for Klimentii ‘kl1m’ Krivosheev.
MIBR has targeted Lucas ‘nqz’ Soares and Santino ‘try’ Rigal as potential AWPers after G2 rejected the club’s opening offer for Klimentii ‘kl1m’ Krivosheev.
Kl1m spent about ten months on loan at MIBR. The loan contains a 30-day right-of-first-refusal that becomes active after the Cologne Major, allowing MIBR to match any formal bid received during that window.
With kl1m unavailable, MIBR has shifted attention to nqz and try. Nqz stepped down from paiN’s roster in April for personal reasons and has not played since. Rafael ‘saffee’ Costa has stood in as MIBR’s AWPer at events including IEM Atlanta, the CS Asia Championships and the Cologne Major.
Try moved to Passion UA in February. There is a reported dispute over payment of his transfer fee, and conversations are underway that could return the Argentinian AWPer to his former club, Imperial.
The XSE Pro League begins on July 1, and MIBR needs a settled roster before the competition starts. At the same time, Felipe ‘insani’ Yuji is attracting interest from Legacy after that club benched Vinicius ‘n1ssim’ Pereira.
Signing nqz would provide an immediate option while the 30-day matching period progresses. Pursuing try would require resolving his transfer dispute before any move could be completed.
MIBR retains the right to match an external offer for kl1m if a formal bid arrives after the Cologne Major. If MIBR chooses not to match, the club will need to finalize an alternative signing before the XSE opener.
