Metizport’s isak to take break, parts ways with team

Metizport announced 24-year-old Isak ‘isak’ Fahlén will step away from competition and the organization has parted ways with the player.

Isak ‘isak’ Fahlén, 24, will step away from professional competition and is no longer with Metizport. He joined the organization in January 2025 after spells with GamerLegion and Ninjas in Pyjamas.

Fahlén spent about one and a half years on Metizport’s roster, making him the team’s second-longest tenured player behind Nicolas ‘Plopski’ Gonzalez Zamora, who recently signed a one-year extension. During his time with the team Fahlén recorded an overall rating of 1.00.

He finished runner-up at Svenska Cupen 2025 and Esplay De_Airport Masters 2026. His strongest individual showing came at ROG JOURNEY Summer 2026, where he posted a 1.27 rating.

Metizport’s active roster now lists Peter ‘stanislaw’ Jarguz, Nicolas ‘Plopski’ Gonzalez Zamora, David ‘forsyy’ Bílý, Maciej ‘F1KU’ Miklas and coach Vincent ‘vinS’ Jozefiak. The vacancy has directed attention to HLTV prospect Liam ‘MaiL09’ Tügel, who spent a loan period at Alliance; the two clubs did not reach a transfer agreement after the loan.

Morten ‘zEVES’ Vollan Christensen commented in June: “I can understand him [wanting to stay at Alliance], of course, but the reality is what it is. He has a contract with Metizport, we tried to find a solution [with Alliance], but we just didn’t get there. If there are no more offers, he’s going to be a Metizport player.”

Metizport has not announced a replacement and has not specified whether MaiL09 will join the starting five.
