Metizport has signed a multi-year title sponsorship with betting operator Epicbet for its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The team will compete as Metizport Epicbet at upcoming events. The agreement names Epicbet as lead partner and is intended to provide ongoing funding for player development and community engagement. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The sponsorship covers Metizport’s professional CS2 roster. Other divisions within Metizport will continue under the organisation’s existing branding. Epicbet is operated by SISU GROUP.
Metizport has expanded its commercial roster in recent months with partners including Maysun, Samsung and AndaSeat. Perry Smith, who was appointed chief commercial officer at the start of that drive, described the agreement as ‘a significant milestone’ and added it brings ‘real, sustained investment in their development.’
Ervin Järvlepp, CMO at SISU GROUP, noted: ‘At Epicbet, maintaining a strategic partnership with Metizport reflects our commitment to supporting the growth and future of esports at the highest level.’
Metizport confirmed funds from the sponsorship will be used for player development programmes and community initiatives. The organisation did not disclose further financial details.
