Man City Esports launches Rocket League decal and goal explosion

Manchester City Esports released a blue Rocket League car decal and a crest goal explosion on the morning after the club’s Premier League defeat at AFC Bournemouth. The items were released ahead of the 2026 RLCS Paris Major and are available in Rocket League’s in-game store within the RLCS Paris Major item sets.

The decal paints cars in a glossy blue and features Manchester City’s club crest. The goal explosion displays the crest bulging out of the net when a player scores. Both items are universal and can be applied to any vehicle model in the game.

Once equipped in a player’s garage, the decal and goal explosion can be used in casual and competitive matches. Manchester City Esports said each member of its Paris Major roster will use both items during the tournament.

The decal costs 300 Rocket League credits and the goal explosion costs 500 credits. In the UK, the two items total less than £7.99 when buyers purchase a 1,100-credit bundle for £7.99.

Manchester City Esports qualified for the RLCS Paris Major by finishing fifth in the European rankings at the Paris Major Open. The roster travelling to Paris includes Ejby, Accro and Seikoo. It is the club’s first appearance at that stage of the RLCS.

The in-game release coincided with the club’s reveal of its 2026–27 home jersey, which was published days before Pep Guardiola’s final match as first-team manager. The decal and goal explosion are sold through Rocket League’s store as licensed club-branded items.
