Magixx 1v4 honored with Mirage ‘Secret Sauce’ graffiti

Valve issued a post-Major update for the IEM Cologne event that added a tomato-sauce graffiti titled ‘Magic: Secret Sauce’ to the Mirage map and released Falcons’ official Cologne Major champion stickers.

The graffiti shows a jar of tomato sauce with a ‘4X’ beneath it and references Boris “magixx” Vorobiev’s 1v4 spraydown in a quarter-final round. The champion stickers for Falcons arrived in the same update.

By winning the Major, Falcons are entitled to 2.85% of revenue from the in-game Major shop and viewer passes, and they also earn proceeds from champion sticker sales. Those revenues are paid to the winning organization and, historically, to its players under Valve’s Major revenue rules.

The Mirage graffiti is the first in-map nod to a specific Major play since a 2017 reference to Mihail ‘Dosia’ Stolyarov’s grenade, with a separate 2019 inclusion tied to a Danger Zone result appearing as an exception.

Magixx had appeared in an ESL promotional skit a few weeks before the Major that joked about a long wait for a graffiti; the new in-game item followed his quarter-final performance.

The update makes the graffiti visible on Mirage and makes the champion stickers available in the Major shop for players and viewers.
