Luminosity is reportedly returning to Counter-Strike after a seven-year absence and plans to debut its new roster at XSE Pro League 2026. The Canadian organization has assembled four players from Monte and appointed Brazilian Lucas “lux” Meneghini as in-game leader. An official announcement is expected soon.
The roster has begun preparations in Guangzhou, China, where Meneghini will direct tactics in the server. He replaces Jack “Gizmy” von Spreckelsen, who is expected to join 100 Thieves.
By acquiring Monte’s core, Luminosity is set to inherit 17th place in the Valve Regional Standings, the points system used for seeding and qualification at Valve-sanctioned events.
The players’ agreements with Ukrainian organization Monte were nearing expiration, and they had notified management of plans to depart, allowing the roster change and public unveiling.
Luminosity is targeting XSE Pro League 2026 for its first official matches with the new lineup. Further roster details and scheduling are expected following the formal announcement.
