Logitech G Connect to Host $100,000 LAN in Warsaw
Logitech G, with Fantasyexpo and GAM3RS_X, will hold a $100,000 LAN at EXPO XXI in Warsaw from Sept. 17–23, with open and closed qualifiers filling six of the 12 team slots.
Logitech G, in partnership with Fantasyexpo and GAM3RS_X, has announced Logitech G Connect, a $100,000 LAN tournament scheduled for Sept. 17–23 at the EXPO XXI convention centre in Warsaw. The main event will stage arena playoffs for a 12-team field at the venue.
Organizers confirmed the tournament will use both open and closed qualifying stages alongside direct invitations to determine the lineup. Six teams will earn places in the Warsaw arena playoffs through those qualifying events; the remaining six slots will be allocated by the event partners.
The competition format divides the 12 teams into two round-robin groups of six. All group-stage matches will be best-of-one. The top three teams from each group will progress: group winners advance directly to the semi-finals, while second- and third-place finishers meet in the quarter-finals (2nd vs. 3rd) to decide the remaining semi-finalists.
Sebastiaan de Lange, Head of Gaming Europe at Logitech G, commented: “With Logitech G Connect, we’re committed to making the next breakthrough possible for every hardworking team, not just the established names.”
The LAN runs across the week and concludes on Sept. 23. Organizers have not released exact qualifier schedules, the list of participating teams, or match formats beyond the group stage.
