Legacy withdraws from XSE Pro League over passport issues

Brazilian team Legacy will miss next month’s XSE Pro League LAN in China and forfeit its opening match against M80 after players faced passport problems.

Brazilian esports team Legacy has withdrawn from next month’s XSE Pro League LAN event in China after players encountered passport problems that prevented them from boarding flights. The team is listed as forfeiting its first-round match against M80 at the $1 million LAN.

Legacy confirmed the withdrawal and cited travel document issues. The organisation did not specify whether it will pursue last-minute travel arrangements or send substitute players.

Tournament organisers have not published an updated schedule or confirmed how the bracket will be adjusted. As currently listed, M80 is set to receive a walkover in the opening match unless an alternative is announced before the fixture.

Legacy and M80 are also scheduled to meet in Stage 2 of the ongoing IEM Cologne Major. Both teams remain active in that event.

The XSE Pro League LAN stage features a $1 million prize pool and an international field. Legacy’s absence reduces the number of Brazilian teams attending the competition.
