Legacy sweeps G2 3-0 to win FISSURE Playground 3

Legacy defeated G2 3-0 in the FISSURE Playground 3 grand final in Suzhou, securing the team’s third tournament victory on Chinese soil following their CAC wins in 2025 and 2026. The Brazilian side closed out the series by winning the opening Ancient map, then taking Mirage and Dust2 to lift the trophy.

The series began on Legacy’s Ancient pick. G2 recovered from an early 2-5 deficit on the CT side and took the lead at the switch after a five-round run. Legacy regained control late in the map when Bruno “latto” Rebelatto produced a double in the 20th round to preserve an 11-9 lead and the Brazilians closed out the map to go up 1-0.

On Mirage, Santino “try” Rigal opened with a four-kill pistol round for Legacy and later hit an AWP triple on short as Legacy built a 5-0 defensive start. G2 responded at times — Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač recorded an ace in the 17th round — but Legacy held on and won Mirage 13-10.

Dust2 was Legacy’s second pick and the team started the map with a 5-0 attack run. Legacy led at the half and finished the map 13-4 to complete the sweep.

Latto finished as tournament MVP, topping Legacy’s scoreboard on all three maps and posting a 1.67 series rating, a +5.59% round swing, 102.9 average damage per round (ADR) and 80.6% KAST. His performance on Dust2 produced a 2.25 rating, 131.6 ADR and a +11.50% round swing. Vinicius “n1ssim” Pereira, try and Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer also registered notable contributions for Legacy. The winning lineup was latto, n1ssim, try, dumau and Andrei “arT” Piovezan.

For G2, Guy “NertZ” Iluz posted the highest ADR in the final at 107.7 and a 1.23 rating. Artem “r1nkle” Moroz, operating with the AWP, finished with a 0.63 rating and 26 kills across three maps. Other G2 players including Nikita “HeavyGod” Martynenko, Matúš “MATYS” Šimko and huNter- produced mixed statistical returns as Legacy held control in key rounds.

Legacy’s win in Suzhou adds to their record of titles in China over consecutive years. G2 left the event without a map win in the grand final and will look to adjust ahead of upcoming tournaments.
