Legacy beat DENDELE to reach PGL Masters 1-1 pool

Legacy beat DENDELE 2-0 at PGL Masters Bucharest, winning Cache 13-9 and Mirage 19-17. The result moved Legacy into the 1-1 pool, while DENDELE remained in the 0-1 pool.

Legacy entered the match after losing to Nemiga on Ancient in the longest map at a Big Event, 23-25, before falling 8-13 on Dust2. Another defeat would have ended Legacy’s tournament run.

Legacy won both pistol rounds on Cache and led 9-3 at halftime. Santino “try” Rigal had 20 kills and five deaths at the break, while Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer recorded 14 kills and six deaths. DENDELE reduced the deficit after the side switch, but Vinicius “n1ssim” Pereira secured the map with a 1v3 clutch.

Legacy took the opening pistol on Mirage, but DENDELE disrupted their usual setups and led 7-5 at halftime. Danilo “doc” Barros and Daniel “rdnzao” Monteiro helped stop several attacks at the B site, with rdnzao continuing to produce multi-kills after the break.

DENDELE reached a 12-9 lead, but Legacy forced overtime after key rounds from Andrei “arT” Piovezan and try. The teams traded rounds through two overtime periods. Try produced several multi-kills for Legacy, while rdnzao recorded two quad-kills for DENDELE.

Legacy won the map 19-17 after try and arT converted a 2v4 situation, giving their team the lead before the final counter-terrorist side.

Try finished the series with 59 kills, a 1.57 rating and 89.9% KAST. N1ssim recorded 37 kills and a 1.17 rating. Rdnzao led DENDELE with 43 kills and a 1.17 rating.
