LEC Summer Finals 2026 set for Nice, France

The League of Legends European Championship will stage its 2026 Summer Finals at Palais Nikaia in Nice, France, from Sept. 18 to 20. The winning team will secure Europe’s last berth at the 2026 League of Legends World Championship in North America in October. The Finals mark the end of the LEC Summer Split, the second phase of the competitive season across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The event will bring the region’s top teams and players to the arena, along with broadcast talent and co-streamers who follow the league throughout the year. Matches will be held across three days at the Palais Nikaia.

Tickets go on general sale on July 10 at 5:00 PM CEST, following a pre-sale registration run by Euronics, the LEC’s pre-sale partner. Fans can also buy travel packages and tickets sold directly by individual teams.

Organizers have introduced a Prestige Pass that includes premium in-house seating, a backstage tour and digital items, including an in-game Braum skin. Single-day tickets on Friday and Saturday are €49 for Category I and €35 for Category II. Sunday Finals tickets are €69 for Category I and €50 for Category II. A Weekend Pass is available for Category I only at €119, and the Prestige Pass is €249 for Category I. Category II is not offered for weekend or prestige options.

The selection of Nice follows the league’s recent practice of holding the Summer Finals in a different European city each year; the 2025 Finals were held in Madrid. The winner in Nice will claim Europe’s final slot for Worlds in North America this October.

Riot Games has announced changes across the League of Legends competitive ecosystem this year, appointing Berlin-based onethreefive gaming GmbH to manage the DACH regional league and partnering with N.E.O. to launch LGC: Rising, a new EMEA competition focused on women’s participation. Organizers plan to release further details on fan experiences and event partners ahead of the July ticket sale.
