Kyousuke credits Karrigan for lifting Falcons’ energy

Maksim “kyousuke” Lukin said Finn “Karrigan” Andersen’s arrival has raised his motivation and improved the Falcons’ dressing-room mood. The team arrived in Cologne for Stage 3 of the Major after reaching back-to-back finals at recent events.

Lukin described a short preparation period before those tournaments. Falcons had only a few focused rounds together, and Karrigan often called and adapted plays during matches rather than relying on longer bootcamps.

The team finished second to Spirit in Astana and lost to Legacy in the final of a Chinese event. Lukin called the loss in China “kinda frustrating” and said that winning in Astana would have reduced the internal pressure on players.

The 18-year-old linked his own form to the team’s mood. He said he performs better when the atmosphere is positive and that Karrigan’s energy has helped him find improved playoff form.

Lukin credited the captain’s vocal leadership and small morale boosts for the change. He gave an example of Karrigan offering quick encouragement in game, saying the gesture helped him reset and keep playing.

Falcons have not yet won a tier-one trophy since the current run of finals began. Lukin said the squad wants a high-level tournament win and believes a single title could ease pressure and build confidence.

Looking ahead to the Major, Lukin said the immediate goal is to reach the playoffs and then perform well against top opponents. He added that the team is focusing on its own play rather than studying opponents, and that specific preparation for their opening match against G2 will begin after arrival in Cologne.

Falcons plan to use the current atmosphere and Karrigan’s in-game direction to try to convert recent final appearances into a tournament victory and a deeper run at the Major.
