Kyedae Returns to VALORANT With Teevee, MeL and Sarah Coaching

Kyedae will return to competitive VALORANT with Teevee in the North American Open Qualifiers for VCT 2027 Americas Kickoff, beginning Nov. 5.

Kyedae will return to the Game Changers North American scene with Teevee in the first Open Qualifiers for VCT 2027 Americas Kickoff. The qualifiers begin Nov. 5.

Melanie “meL” Hoi-San Man and Sarah “sarah” Simpson, two-time Game Changers Championship winners, will coach the team.

Teevee is among the teams competing for a place in the 2027 Americas Kickoff. The event will mark Kyedae’s return to competitive play after about a year away.

Kyedae began her competitive career in 2023, when she joined Disguised’s Game Changers roster. She later left competition after being diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, a type of cancer.

Kyedae joined Teevee two years later and competed with the roster during the season. She then announced a break from streaming to focus on her health and was moved to the team’s inactive roster.

She later disclosed additional health complications, including endometriosis. Kyedae will now continue with Teevee in the first North American Open Qualifiers of the 2027 VCT season.
