KSCERATO masterclass sends FURIA into BLAST Open playoffs

FURIA secured a spot in the BLAST Open Porto knockout stage after a 2-0 win over M80, taking Cache 16-13 in overtime and Dust2 13-5. The result made FURIA the second team to qualify for the event’s playoffs.

On Cache, Kaike ‘KSCERATO’ Cerato recorded 32 kills, a 1.86 rating, 99.9 average damage per round and a +6.51% round swing. His rating on the map was 0.79 higher than teammate Mareks ‘YEKINDAR’ Gaļinskis. FURIA forced overtime on Cache and closed the map 16-13.

FURIA’s Dust2 pick ended 13-5. KSCERATO posted a 2.27 rating on Dust2, won all five of his opening duels and recorded four multikills. Gabriel ‘FalleN’ Toledo converted a 1v2 early in the map, and FURIA held the lead to finish the series.

Across the match, YEKINDAR registered 31 kills and a 1.23 rating, while Danil ‘molodoy’ Golubenko had 36 kills and a 1.03 rating. Gabriel ‘FalleN’ Toledo and Yuri ‘yuurih’ Santos contributed across both maps with defensive play and trade kills that supported opening duels.

M80 had individual performances but could not sustain rounds on Dust2. Mason ‘Lake’ Sanderson finished the series with 39 kills and a 1.22 rating, and Fritz ‘slaxz-‘ Dietrich had 31 kills and a 1.07 rating, but other members of the lineup were unable to convert enough rounds to extend the match.

On broadcast, KSCERATO noted he had changed his crosshair and planned to keep it for Porto. FURIA will advance from the group phase into the event knockout stage and play further matches at BLAST Open Porto.
