KRÜ reportedly agrees to sign VALORANT champion Darker

KRÜ Esports has reportedly agreed to sign Colombian VALORANT world champion Sebastián “Darker” Castro Cicuamia for the 2027 VCT Americas season.

KRÜ Esports has reportedly agreed to sign Sebastián “Darker” Castro Cicuamia for the 2027 VCT Americas season. The agreement has not been confirmed by either organization.

Darker became a free agent on Nov. 2, when his contract with LOUD expired. The date also marked the opening of the VCT transfer window, allowing him to negotiate directly with other teams. A report published Nov. 4 said Darker had agreed to terms with KRÜ.

LOUD signed Darker from LAZER before the 2026 season. He helped the Brazilian organization win VALORANT Champions Shanghai in October, securing LOUD’s second world title. Darker also finished second with LOUD at VCT Americas Stage 2 and became the first Colombian player to win VALORANT Champions.

If completed, the agreement would make Darker KRÜ’s first reported addition for the 2027 season. The Argentine organization has held player tryouts and announced the departures of Leonardo “mwzera” Serrati and Olavo “heat” Marcelo. The futures of several other KRÜ players remain undecided.

LOUD is also preparing for changes to its championship roster. Lucca “lukxo” Travaioli and Roberto “erde” Lobos have reportedly reached verbal agreements to join Leviatán in 2027. LOUD has accepted Leviatán’s offer for the pair, although the transfers still require final paperwork.

Enzo “tkzin” Zimiani’s future is also uncertain. He joined LOUD on loan from KRÜ for the final part of the 2026 season. KRÜ wants to retain him, while the organizations dispute the status of his contract. Riot Games has reportedly indicated that tkzin could be treated as a free agent, a position KRÜ disputes.

David “DaviH” Cruz was reportedly the only member of LOUD’s championship roster with a contract running through the end of 2027. LOUD is also seeking a two-year contract extension for head coach Gonzalo “Romanilly” Manzano.

KRÜ and LOUD are both confirmed partner organizations in VCT Americas for 2027. Neither organization commented on the reported agreement involving Darker.
