KICK opens platform to brands and advertisers
KICK opened its livestreaming platform to brands and advertisers, offering paid promotions to reach creators and more than 100 million users worldwide.
KICK posted on LinkedIn that it is opening its livestreaming platform to brands and advertisers for paid promotions, writing “Brands and advertisers, our DMs are open.” The company said it spent three and a half years building “a platform creators want to stream on and communities want to spend time in” and now counts more than 100 million users, claiming the top position in the MENA and LATAM regions. KICK stated it will remain “creator-first” while allowing brand partnerships. Interested companies were directed to [email protected].
Ethan Wright, a director at KICK, wrote on LinkedIn that the firm conducted extensive internal work to define the brand experience and is ready to hold “real discussions with launch partners.”
The opening to advertisers follows recent distribution and broadcast deals. Riot Games added KICK to its official broadcast roster for League of Legends Esports, VALORANT and Teamfight Tactics about a month ago. Earlier in 2026, ESL FACEIT Group signed a global distribution partnership with KICK aimed at reaching younger audiences in high-growth markets including MENA. KICK has also pursued partnerships with publishers and tournament organisers.
Several streamers have praised KICK’s monetisation terms. Brazilian streamer Alexandre “Gaules” Borba publicly said the platform offers better conditions than some established competitors. KICK has highlighted its payment model and platform features in efforts to recruit creators.
The advertising push comes as KICK faces scrutiny over commercial associations and content moderation. The platform has received criticism for links to gambling site Stake, which sponsors esports organisations such as Team Vitality and Astralis. French regulators took action against KICK after a streamer died during a broadcast on August 18 following days of reported abuse and humiliation that were streamed on the platform.
KICK has built revenue around creator payouts and publisher deals and is now seeking a third revenue stream through direct brand partnerships and paid promotions.
