Karmine Corp completes 9-0 LEC split, secures upper bracket

Karmine Corp finished the LEC 2026 regular season 9-0 and enters Playoffs in the upper bracket as ten teams vie for three League of Legends World Championship berths.

Karmine Corp completed the League of Legends EMEA Championship 2026 regular season with a 9-0 match record and will begin the Playoffs in the upper bracket. Ten teams will compete for three direct places at the League of Legends World Championship.

As of August 29, the standings are set, confirming Karmine Corp’s perfect match slate. Across nine best-of series, the team dropped only two individual games-one to G2 Esports and one to Shifters-while winning every series to finish first.

Karmine Corp fields bot laner Caliste, support Busio, top laner Canna, jungler Yike and mid laner kyeahoo. The result guarantees a top-four seed under the LEC format, which places the team in the Playoffs’ upper bracket.

Seeding will shape the path through the upper and lower brackets. With three Worlds spots on the line, an upper-bracket start gives teams additional matches to qualify if they lose early.

In regional play this year, Karmine Corp recorded wins over G2 Esports. Internationally, the team placed second at the Esports World Cup, losing 3-0 in the final to Dplus KIA. Its finish at the Mid-Season Invitational earlier in the year was lower. At that event, G2 Esports eliminated T1, and Hanwha Life Esports won the title.

The LEC Playoffs will decide which three EMEA teams advance to the World Championship.
