Jynxzi has acquired FYR Strays and rebranded the Rainbow Six Siege team as Jynxzi Esports. The roster has qualified for the playoff phase of the Six Invitational 2027 Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ).
The lineup consists of Mingo, Franklin, Loo, jayyguns and bootz. The players competed as FYR Strays during their first season together and finished regional play undefeated.
FYR Strays won North American Open Cup events in Palmetto Bay and Salt Lake City, along with the Element Five championship. The team defeated InControl Gaming 3-0 in the Salt Lake City final.
The results gave Jynxzi Esports direct qualification for the Six Invitational 2027 LCQ playoff phase. Eight teams will compete in a double-elimination bracket, with the winner earning a place at the Six Invitational.
The roster has also reached the Challenger Finals playoff phase. Winning that tournament would give the team a place in the BLAST R6 North America League for the 2027 season.
Jynxzi is a Rainbow Six Siege content creator who received the 2025 Six Invitational Most Valuable Player award. He also has an in-game cosmetic bundle in Siege.
A post celebrating the Salt Lake City victory described the roster as “the most dominant team to ever compete in t2” and noted that it had won both of its LAN tournaments.
Jynxzi Esports could become eligible for the R6 Share program if it reaches the top tier of competitive play. The program allows teams to offer branded in-game items such as drone skins, weapon charms and operator card backgrounds.
