Esport Canada announced the appointment of Jordan “Ayrin” He as Director of Strategic Growth & Operations. Jordan He will oversee the federation’s domestic and international operations and lead national team programmes, including preparations for the Esports Nations Cup 2026 in Riyadh.

In Canada, Jordan He will manage the organisation’s operational framework and work with provincial and territorial partners to refine competition structures. His duties include improving long-term operational sustainability and strengthening pathways that move players from scholastic and grassroots leagues toward elite national selection.

On the international side, Jordan He will oversee business operations and sponsor activations for Canadian national teams. He will coordinate commercial relationships and sponsor work to provide continuity for players competing at global events and to support logistical and promotional needs for national squads.

Esport Canada is preparing to serve as Canada’s official National Team Partner at the Esports Nations Cup, scheduled for November 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The federation’s national team efforts for the event will be supported by Overactive Media, the parent company of franchises including Toronto KOI and Movistar KOI, which will assist with logistics and commercial partnerships.

Jordan He brings more than 15 years of experience in competitive gaming and esports business. He represented Canada at the 2012 World Cyber Games in Kunshan, China and later competed as an in-game leader in Crossfire and VALORANT. His corporate experience includes roles at publisher Riot Games and esports organisation M80, working across seven countries on team management, publisher relations and international operations.

In his new role, Jordan He will work with stakeholders across the country to align competition calendars, standards and development programmes while managing the commercial arrangements that support national teams. The appointment comes as industry executives gather at events tied to international competitions to discuss competitive schedules and partnerships.
