Official figures show the PUBG Mobile Global Open 2026 Season 2 Southeast Asia Finals reached a peak concurrent audience of 538,624 during Round 18 on the final day. That peak is 33.16% higher than the Season 1 peak, and average viewership across all broadcasts rose about 24.14%.
Organizers identified shifts in language audiences as a driver of growth. Indonesian and Bahasa Malaysia broadcasts remained among the most-watched, while English-language watch time nearly doubled. New viewing audiences in Hindi, Urdu and Bengali added measurable additional hours of view time.
Thailand’s Sharper Esports won the Southeast Asia Finals after 18 rounds, with the championship decided in the final game. Bigetron Esports finished seventh. Sharper Esports received $12,000 from a $40,000 prize pool and earned 120 qualifying points for the PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2026 Southeast Asia standings. The top five teams from the finals advanced to the PMGO Season 2 main stage.
Across PUBG Mobile tournaments held between January and September 15, the SEA Finals ranked among the top five events by peak viewers. The PUBG Mobile World Cup 2026 recorded the highest peak this year and marked the franchise’s strongest tournament audience in five years. PMGO Season 1 exceeded 1 million peak viewers.
