Inner Circle qualify for BLAST Open Porto after RES win

Inner Circle completed a flawless run at RES Showdown 4, the Europe qualifier held July 9–10, 2026, sweeping GenOne, magic and Virtus.pro 2-0 in each series. The team did not drop a map across the event.

The victory secures Inner Circle a spot at BLAST Open Porto, the $1,000,000 tournament scheduled for Aug. 24–Sept. 6. The win grants direct entry to the main event field.

Viktor ‘onic’ Babii served as in-game leader for Inner Circle. David ‘Dawy’ Bibik averaged a 1.38 rating across six maps in the qualifier. Arseniy ‘cptkurtka023’ Derevinskiy posted a 1.26 rating, Eduard ‘zeRRoFIX’ Petrovskyi a 1.18 rating and onic a 1.10. Daniil ‘headtr1ck’ Valitov contributed in utility and support roles.

Virtus.pro reached the later rounds but used a forced substitution when Petr ‘fame’ Bolyshev stood in for Alexander ‘AquaRS’ Kovalev on the second map of their series. Virtus.pro recorded earlier wins over Ninjas in Pyjamas and B8. Nikolay ‘mir’ Bityukov finished with a 1.05 rating and Vadim ‘tO0RO’ Arkov with a 0.99 rating during the qualifier.

Inner Circle’s RES Showdown 4 result added VRS points and moved the organization to 26th in the global VRS standings used for event invites. Three places for BLAST Open Porto remain available through regional qualifiers in the Americas and Asia; additional slots will be allocated via the Global VRS standings as of July 6.

The qualifier win followed Inner Circle’s title at Super DraculaN Season 1. The team has not appeared at a notable LAN since PGL Bucharest in April.
