Imperial cancels try’s transfer from Passion UA

Imperial Esports has revoked Santino ‘try’ Rigal’s transfer to Passion UA and reclaimed his rights, the club said; Passion UA has been formally notified and agreed to the terms.

Imperial Esports has cancelled the transfer of Santino ‘try’ Rigal to Passion UA and is reclaiming the player’s rights. The Brazilian club said Passion UA has been formally notified and agreed to the terms reached in recent meetings. The reversal follows a three-month spell with the Ukrainian team.

Try moved to Passion UA in February 2026 after more than 18 months with Imperial. He arrived alongside Azbayar ‘Senzu’ Munkhbold, who joined on loan from The MongolZ. The updated Passion UA lineup did not qualify for the Cologne Major, and Senzu was loaned to BC.Game at the end of April.

In a statement on its website, Imperial wrote that it is ‘currently in the process of reclaiming the rights’ to try and that the transfer agreement with Passion UA was cancelled ‘for reasons that will not be disclosed at this time.’ The organisation requested that ‘any interest, inquiry, or negotiation regarding the player’s rights should be directed to Imperial Esports, which will handle the matter in conjunction with the player and his representatives,’ and said it will not make further comments while documents are being formalised.

Clubs have expressed interest in try for an AWPer role. MIBR has been linked with the player as it seeks a permanent AWP option and remains interested in loanee Klimentii ‘kl1m’ Krivosheev. Imperial did not confirm any specific suitors and described the player’s next destination as pending while the reclamation process is completed.

Imperial emphasised that formal documentation is being prepared and that it will manage negotiations going forward in coordination with the player and his representatives.
