history reportedly set to replace meyern at 9z

Allan “history” Lawrenz is reportedly set to join 9z as a substitute for the Singapore Major, replacing Ignacio “meyern” Meyer. The former Fluxo and RED Canids AWPer is expected to join after 9z failed to reach an agreement with ShindeN over the signing of benched AWPer Ivan “ivz” Quintana.

9z will begin their Singapore Major campaign in Stage 1. The team has lost seven matches in a row since reaching the quarter-finals at the IEM Cologne Major and winning XSE Pro League Guangzhou.

Head coach Bruno “BIT” Fukuda Lima recently described 9z as “lucky” to qualify for the Singapore Major.

Meyern joined 9z in November 2025, replacing Guilherme “levi” Gustavo in the starting lineup after switching to the AWPer role. He has recorded a 0.98 average rating in LAN matches this year.

The roster submitted for the Major includes Maximiliano “max” Gonzalez, Franco “dgt” Garcia, Ignacio “meyern” Meyer, Luciano “luchov” Herrera and Matias “HUASOPEEK” Ibañez Hernandez. History is listed as the substitute, with BIT named as coach.
