Hamilton Day named Partnerships Director at MEGA Advanced

MEGA Advanced appointed Hamilton Day as Partnerships Director, the company announced in a LinkedIn post. Day will continue to run DIEM Agency while taking the MEGA role as the organization prepares the 2026 Esports Awards. The LinkedIn post did not list his specific responsibilities.

A Partnerships Director at an awards organizer typically sources and negotiates sponsorship and partnership deals with brands, publishers and platforms, manages ongoing sponsor relationships, and works with content and production teams to create partner segments, activations and experiences around the show.

Day founded DIEM Agency in May 2020. He served as Head of Ecosystem and GTM Partnerships at Illuvium.io from April 2024 to May 2026. He was Head of Brand Partnerships at GameStop for almost a year and worked as Partner Business Manager at Podium from May 2021 to April 2022.

MEGA has added other senior hires while preparing the next awards. Patrick Collins joined as Vice President of Growth and Morgan Tremaine as Executive Producer. MEGA renewed Oakley as a sponsor for the 2026 Esports Awards, extended its partnership with the Esports Foundation through 2028, and reached an agreement with GameSquare, parent company of FaZe Clan, to handle sales for its award shows.

MEGA reported that viewership for the Esports Awards grew from about 80,000 in 2016 to roughly 20 million in the most recent edition, which also drew about 13 million fan votes. Day’s appointment takes place as MEGA builds its commercial and production teams ahead of the 2026 event.
