Gen.G inks NordVPN security deal, Musinsa to sell 2026 kit

Gen.G partnered with NordVPN to promote digital security for gamers and with Musinsa to release its 2026 second uniform collection and beauty products, the team said June 8.

Gen.G announced on June 8 two commercial partnerships: one with NordVPN to provide digital security education for its global fanbase, and another with South Korea’s Musinsa to launch the team’s 2026 Official Second Uniform Collection and a line of beauty products. The Musinsa collection will be released exclusively through Musinsa Drop ahead of major events including the Mid-Season Invitational and the Esports World Cup.

Under the agreement with NordVPN, Gen.G will use its content channels and social platforms to publish practical information and guides focused on the online environments gamers use most, including gaming, streaming and community platforms. The two organisations plan content initiatives and promotions aimed at raising awareness about account safety, privacy and healthier online habits among esports fans. Gen.G said future campaigns will roll out across its global channels.

Lee Seung-yong, Executive Director of Gen.G, commented that with gamers spending extensive time online, digital security has become more important and the partnership with NordVPN is intended to help fans enjoy games and content more safely and to promote a healthy digital culture.

The Musinsa lineup includes jerseys and jackets and is accompanied by a range of beauty products linked to Gen.G’s “SHOW YOUR LIGHT” campaign. Musinsa described the apparel as using ultra-lightweight, highly stretchable fabrics and a ventilation structure designed for summer sports conditions. Gen.G said the 2026 second official player uniform began shipping sequentially from the first week of June.

The announcements follow other commercial moves for Gen.G this year. In June the organisation extended its agreement with streaming platform SOOP to cover additional broadcast rights across multiple esports titles. Earlier, Gen.G signed a multi-year partnership with OTOKI, placing the brand on team jerseys and integrating it into digital content. Global Esports Industry Week is scheduled to return June 18–21, 2026 in Cologne alongside IEM Cologne.
