Game Changers EMEA Stage 3 Finals return to Istanbul on Aug. 30

Riot Games confirmed the Game Changers EMEA Stage 3 Grand Finals will take place at Istanbul’s ESA Esports Arena on 30 August. The venue will host an official VCT EMEA watch party after the final. Tickets for the event go on sale 3 August.

The Grand Finals will determine which EMEA teams qualify for the VALORANT Game Changers Championship in November. ESA Esports Arena will run a full-day programme: the Game Changers Grand Final followed by live viewing of the VCT EMEA Stage 2 Finals, which take place in Barcelona the same weekend.

ESA Esports Arena is the tournament organiser for the third consecutive year. Fans attending the event can take part in player meet-and-greets before the Grand Final and can expect creator appearances, prize-winning activities and the live broadcast of the match from the arena.

Riot Games noted that last year’s Game Changers finals saw no EU teams reach the top four, and organisers expect teams will aim to perform strongly ahead of end-of-year matches against American and Asian rivals.

Tomek, Esports Product Manager for VALORANT at VCT EMEA, called Istanbul “a true home for VALORANT fans across the region” and described the watch party as “a celebration for the entire VALORANT community.”

The 2026 Game Changers season has included Cash Cups and an expanding regional ecosystem intended to provide more competitive pathways for players. Some Game Changers players also appear in ENC teams, and national squads have formed mixed teams, with Switzerland and Denmark cited as examples. Riot expects those crossovers to influence team line-ups and fan interest at the Grand Finals.

Tickets for the Stage 3 Grand Finals at ESA Esports Arena go on sale 3 August; the event is scheduled for 30 August.
