FUT beats B8 2-1 to stay alive at IEM Cologne

FUT defeated B8 2-1 in a Stage 3 match at the IEM Cologne Major, dropping Dust2 10-13 before winning Mirage 13-9 and Ancient 13-11.

The series was a rematch of their Stage 2 meeting and marked FUT’s first victory in Stage 3 after consecutive three-map losses to Vitality and G2.

FUT lost the opener on Dust2 10-13 and fell behind 1-4 on Mirage. Dmytro ‘dem0n’ Myroshnychenko led the recovery on Mirage and the team closed that map 13-9.

On Ancient, dem0n won a 1v3 early to help FUT build a 12-6 lead. FUT struggled to finish the map cleanly but secured the final round in regulation to complete the 13-11 win.

Stat lines for the series show dem0n top for FUT with a 58-48 K-D, 83.7 ADR and a 1.25 Rating3.0. Aulon ‘Krabeni’ Fazlija recorded 46-51 K-D, 79.2 ADR and a 1.12 rating, while Laurențiu ‘lauNX’ Țârlea had 49-50 K-D, 70.7 ADR and a 1.00 rating. For B8, Andrii ‘npl’ Kukharskyi posted 61-46 K-D, 102.3 ADR and a 1.32 rating; the other B8 players finished the series with ratings below 1.00.

The victory extends FUT’s Major campaign by at least one day. FUT will play their next match in Cologne; B8 will appear again on the Stage 3 schedule.
