FURIA reach IEM Cologne Major final with 2-0 win

FURIA beat Aurora 2-0 at the IEM Cologne Major in Cologne on June 21, 2026, and advanced to Sunday’s final. The Brazilian team has five consecutive wins at the event and will meet the winner of Spirit versus Falcons in a best-of-five for the title. FURIA’s result improves on their previous best Major finish, a semi-final at the 2022 Rio Major.

The series opened on Dust2, Aurora’s pick. FURIA began on the Terrorist side and trailed 0-3 early. Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato turned the momentum with a four-kill sequence on the T side and completed an ace at the end of the half, helping FURIA take a 7-5 lead. FURIA held control on the CT side of Dust2. Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo recorded no kills on Dust2.

Nuke was one-sided in the second map after a brief Aurora advantage. Aurora won the CT pistol and built a 3-0 start and recorded nine opening-duel wins across the map, but they converted only four rounds on Nuke. Aurora surrendered multiple man advantages to FURIA, including two 5v3 situations. FURIA closed out Nuke in the second half, with KSCERATO delivering a four-kill round to seal the match.

Individual match statistics show FURIA’s higher output. Yuri “yuurih” Santos finished 34-19 with a 1.62 rating and 90.7 ADR. KSCERATO went 29-20 with a 1.38 rating. Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis was 32-28 with a 1.30 rating, and Danil “molodoy” Golubenko posted 31-18 with a 1.23 rating. FalleN ended the match 14-25.

Aurora’s top performances included Ali “Wicadia” Haydar Yalçın at 26-28 with a 0.92 rating, Engin “MAJ3R” Küpeli 20-25 with a 0.83 rating, Özgür “woxic” Eker 21-26 with a 0.82 rating, Caner “soulfly” Kesici 22-32 with a 0.73 rating, and İsmailcan “XANTARES” Dörtkardeş 19-30 with a 0.72 rating.

FURIA will play the winner of the upper-bracket match between Spirit and Falcons in Sunday’s best-of-five final. A victory in Cologne would give FalleN a third Major-level title in his career.
