Fnatic signs Artem ‘cairne’ to complete all‑Ukrainian lineup

Fnatic signed Artem ‘cairne’ Mushynskyi from Ninjas in Pyjamas, completing the organisation’s all‑Ukrainian Counter‑Strike starting lineup led by Rodion ‘fEAR’ Smyk.

Fnatic has signed 23-year-old Artem ‘cairne’ Mushynskyi from Ninjas in Pyjamas, completing the organisation’s all‑Ukrainian starting Counter‑Strike lineup. The roster now plays under in‑game leader Rodion ‘fEAR’ Smyk.

The full starting five will be Rodion ‘fEAR’ Smyk, Artem ‘cairne’ Mushynskyi, Dmytro ‘jambo’ Semera, Nikita ‘jackasmo’ Skyba and Viktor ‘Br4tkO’ Kondratets. Miks ‘Independent’ Siliņš will serve as coach.

Cairne joined Ninjas in Pyjamas after strong performances at the Inner Circle event in 2025. His time at NIP included inconsistent results and periods on the bench. Cairne wrote that differences in approach with his former teammates prompted the split: “We came to realize that our fundamental approach to the game differs in some important ways. In the end, the team needs something different from what I naturally bring as a player.”

Fnatic said the shared national background and fEAR’s leadership should help integrate cairne into the squad. The team plans to test the new lineup in upcoming practice and events ahead of the next competitive cycle.

After qualifying for the StarLadder Budapest Major, Fnatic fell from the top 30 of the VRS rankings to 70th in 2026. The organisation has signalled its intention to address form and cohesion before the next season.
