FaZe to face Spirit in BLAST Bounty S2 semifinals

FaZe will face Spirit in the semifinals of BLAST Bounty Season 2, part of the tournament’s live playoff schedule.
David “frozen” Čerňanský spoke in an interview after FaZe’s comeback win over The MongolZ and described the matchup as a direct measure of the team’s recent work. “We are playing better than we did half a year ago, but there is still so much to improve,” he said.
FaZe advanced to the semifinals by overturning a deficit to beat The MongolZ in an earlier round. The draw paired them with Spirit, who finished higher in the event standings and are ranked among the tournament’s top three teams.
Frozen added that FaZe entered the event to test themselves against stronger opponents. “We came to this tournament to see where we stand, to face good teams. At the last tournament, the best opposition was top 15, top 10, so meeting a top 3 team will be a good test for us to see where we are and how we’re going to handle it.”
He noted the semifinal will expose tactical choices, individual form and in-game decisions that practice and lower-tier matches do not reveal.
The winner of the semifinal will advance to the final of BLAST Bounty Season 2.
