FaZe clinch first BLAST Bounty Malta LAN spot

FaZe secured the first LAN finals spot in BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 with a 2–1 Round of 16 victory over DENDELE. The finals take place July 30–August 2 at BLAST’s Malta studio, where eight teams will compete.

The series opened on Nuke, where Jason ‘JBOEN’ Boe Nielsen finished 19-1 and FaZe controlled both sides of the map. Mirage began with FaZe winning the first six rounds, but DENDELE recovered and won Mirage after two successful forcebuy rounds. Cache served as the decider; Jakub ‘jcobbb’ Pietruszewski produced a 1v3 clutch in the first half and David ‘frozen’ Čerňanský made an AWP play in the previous round, and FaZe held the second half to close the match.

DENDELE had beaten FURIA less than 12 hours before the match and rebranded from Sharks earlier this month.

Individual statistics underlined FaZe’s performance across the series. Jakub ‘jcobbb’ Pietruszewski finished 49-35 with a 1.40 rating, 85.9 average damage per round and 75.9% KAST. Jason ‘JBOEN’ Boe Nielsen was 48-28 overall and 19-1 on Nuke, with a 1.16 rating. Russell ‘Twistzz’ Van Dulken was 40-33 with a 1.17 rating, David ‘frozen’ Čerňanský 36-31 with a 1.12 rating, and Ryan ‘Neityu’ Aubry 36-35 with a 1.05 rating. For DENDELE, Victor ‘gafolo’ Andrade went 43-43 with a 1.08 rating; Danilo ‘doc’ Barros 34-41 with a 1.00 rating; João ‘koala’ Pfeffer 33-38 with a 0.93 rating; Daniel ‘rdnzao’ Monteiro 26-44 with a 0.75 rating; and Máximo ‘maxxkor’ Cortina 25-43 with a 0.59 rating.

FaZe are the first team to qualify for the Malta LAN finals. DENDELE remain in the tournament and will play further matches in the coming days.
