Falcons sweep Heroic to set up NAVI rematch at IEM Beijing

Team Falcons beat Heroic 2-0 in a lower-bracket match at IEM Beijing 2026 on Wednesday, Nov. 4. The result sent Falcons into a rematch with Natus Vincere later the same day.

Falcons won both maps. The opening map lasted 48 minutes, and the second took 46 minutes. Heroic stayed in the games for long periods but did not win a map.

The result matched the teams’ pre-event rankings. Falcons entered the tournament at No. 9 with a rating of 1,853 and a 47-23 record across 70 rated matches. Heroic were ranked No. 16 with a rating of 1,815 and a 51-36 record from 87 rated matches.

Falcons, whose roster includes Finn “karrigan” Andersen, Nikola “NiKo” Kovač and Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, opened the Beijing event with a 0-2 loss to NAVI in the upper-bracket quarterfinals. They then beat FaZe 2-1 in the lower bracket before sweeping Heroic.

The win over FaZe followed Falcons’ results at the Thunderpick World Championship 2026. The team beat 9z 2-1 before losing 1-2 to BetBoom Team and Aurora Gaming.

Heroic began IEM Beijing with a 2-0 win over B8 in the upper-bracket quarterfinals. The Danish team then lost 0-2 to TheMongolz in the upper-bracket semifinals and dropped into the lower bracket. The loss to Falcons was Heroic’s second straight series defeat without a map win.

At DraculaN Season 7 2026, Heroic lost 1-2 to Sinners, beat BBL 2-0 and lost 1-2 to FaZe.

NAVI reached the rematch after losing 1-2 to FURIA in the upper-bracket semifinals and beating B8 2-0 in the lower bracket. Falcons will have another chance to face the team that defeated them in their opening Beijing series.

In other matches, Team Liquid beat TYLOO 2-0 and BetBoom Team defeated Aurora Gaming 2-0. FURIA and TheMongolz won their upper-bracket semifinals.
