ExitLag, Supercell launch Clash Royale LATAM tournament

ExitLag and Supercell launched a Clash Royale edition of the ExitLag ChampZ LATAM circuit running June 26–July 12 with a R$30,000 prize pool; finals air July 11–12.

ExitLag and Supercell have launched a Clash Royale edition of the ExitLag ChampZ tournament for Latin America. The circuit opened registration on June 26 and runs through July 12, with official broadcasts for the quarterfinals on July 11 and the semifinals and grand final on July 12.

The competition is hosted on the Challengermode platform. Open qualifiers use a single-elimination format, followed by a restricted bracket phase for active ExitLag subscribers. The final stage will feature 16 players in a double-elimination playoff to determine the champion.

Organisers set the cash prize pool at R$30,000 BRL, roughly $5,820 USD. In addition to tiered cash awards, the top 16 finalists will receive exclusive in-game items and ExitLag platform benefits.

ExitLag, a connectivity optimisation platform, runs the ChampZ series. The circuit has previously staged 34 tournaments across 14 titles, recorded more than 22,000 registered players and attracted over 700,000 unique Twitch viewers. Lucas Almeida, ExitLag’s marketing director, described the partnership with Supercell as a way to “engage directly with targeted competitive communities worldwide” and added it aims to offer experiences beyond basic server connectivity.

Supercell, based in Helsinki, is participating as part of its growing focus on mobile esports. Over the past year the company expanded its competitive investments, including a multi-year partnership with the tournament organiser BLAST for a $2 million Brawl Stars circuit and the appointment of Rachel Rakowski as Head of Esports for Clash of Clans. This event is the first official co-activation between Supercell and ExitLag on the ChampZ platform.

Organisers said they expect the July 11–12 broadcasts to draw viewers across the Latin American region. Players and viewers can find match schedules and registration information on the Challengermode event page.
