EWC Week 3 Hours Watched Drop; MLBB Peaks Over 2M
EWC broadcasts July 20-26 recorded 24.2 million Hours Watched, about half of Week 2 and 28.3% below 2025; Mobile Legends reached just over 2 million concurrent viewers.
Esports World Cup broadcasts from July 20-26 generated 24.2 million Hours Watched. That total was roughly half the audience recorded in Week 2 and 28.3% lower than the same week in 2025. The week’s programming lacked several major finals.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang accounted for 18.8 million Hours Watched during the period, representing 77.6% of the week’s total. The MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026 peaked at just over 2 million concurrent viewers during ONIC’s group-stage win over Selangor Red Giants. The all-time EWC peak for Mobile Legends remains 3.06 million concurrent viewers; MLBB playoffs are scheduled in the coming days.
PUBG: Battlegrounds showed an increase in average viewers driven by Vietnamese-language broadcasts, while its Peak Viewers declined 23.4% year over year. EA FC 26 posted higher Average Viewers and total Hours Watched versus last year, supported by French-language streams, but its Peak Viewers fell by 6%. A show match featuring Karim Benzema and streamer Amine drew a larger audience than the comparable match in 2025, but did not raise the event peak above last year’s figure. Teamfight Tactics delivered lower audience numbers, about half of its 2025 totals.
T1 remained the most-watched organization at EWC 2026, surpassing 10 million Hours Watched across all teams, with the bulk coming from its League of Legends roster, which finished fourth. Dplus and Karmine Corp trailed closely in Hours Watched. Team Falcons and Gen.G narrowed their gaps following appearances in the MLBB Mid Season Cup and PUBG events.
In the EWC Club Championship standings after Week 3, Natus Vincere led with 2,250 points. Virtus.pro moved to second with 1,950 points after its PUBG roster won that tournament and earned 1,000 points; Virtus.pro’s Teamfight Tactics team added 200 points by reaching the playoffs. Team Vitality held third with 1,800 points. Team Vision rose to fourth with 1,750 points after winning the Teamfight Tactics championship. A total of 59 organizations have earned Club Championship points through the first three weeks, and no club has won more than one tournament so far.
The share of viewership coming from community co-streams fell to about 34% in Week 3, down from roughly 56–58% during the first two weeks. The decline was driven by Mobile Legends’ dominant share of the week’s audience and the tendency for MLBB viewers to favor official channels. Zay Casting Channel was the most-watched community caster for Week 3, recording more than 825,000 Hours Watched and a peak near 106,700 concurrent viewers, about half of its peak during the M7 World Championship.
The next block of EWC competition runs July 27-August 2 and includes the MLBB playoffs plus final-stage matches in Overwatch, Call of Duty: Warzone, Street Fighter 6, Honor of Kings, and Tekken 8. Tournament results and viewership statistics are available on the event’s official hub.
