EWC Week 3 Hours Drop; MLBB Peaks Above 2M Viewers

EWC Week 3 broadcasts drew 24.2 million hours watched, about half of Week 2. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang peaked above 2 million viewers during ONIC’s group-stage win.

From July 20 to 26, Esports World Cup 2026 broadcasts generated 24.2 million hours watched, nearly half the total recorded during Week 2. The week’s total was 28.3% lower than the same week in 2025, reflecting a lack of major finals across several titles.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang accounted for 18.8 million hours watched, or 77.6% of the week’s total. MLBB reached a peak of more than 2 million viewers during ONIC’s group-stage win over Selangor Red Giants. With playoffs still to come, the event could approach its EWC MLBB peak of 3.06 million peak viewers.

PUBG: Battlegrounds recorded higher average viewership, supported by Vietnamese-language broadcasts, while its peak viewers fell 23.4% year over year. EA FC 26 posted gains in average viewers and total hours watched, driven by French-language coverage; its peak viewers declined by about 6% despite a show match between Karim Benzema and streamer Amine that drew a larger audience than the Ronaldo Nazário vs Kaká exhibition at EWC 2025. Teamfight Tactics’ audience was roughly half its 2025 level.

T1 remained the most-watched organization, surpassing 10 million hours watched across its teams, a total led by its League of Legends roster, which finished fourth. Dplus and Karmine Corp trailed T1 in total hours watched and remained close to one another. Team Falcons and Gen.G narrowed the gap after Week 3 following appearances in the MLBB Mid Season Cup and PUBG events.

In the EWC Club Championship standings after Week 3, Natus Vincere led with 2,250 points. Virtus.pro moved to second with 1,950 points after its PUBG squad won the tournament and its Teamfight Tactics lineup reached the playoffs, a combined gain of 1,200 points. Team Vitality had 1,800 points, and Team Vision rose to 1,750 after winning the Teamfight Tactics championship. No club had won two tournaments after three weeks. Fifty-nine clubs had earned championship points.

Community casting’s share of viewership fell to 34% in Week 3, down from 56–58% in the first two weeks. The MLBB Mid Season Cup directed most viewers to official channels, where community casters historically capture a smaller share of the Mobile Legends audience. Zay Casting Channel was the top community caster for the week, with more than 825,000 hours watched and a peak audience of about 106,700 viewers.

The fourth week of EWC runs July 27–August 2 and includes decisive Mobile Legends matches along with contests in Overwatch, Call of Duty: Warzone, Street Fighter 6, Honor of Kings, and Tekken 8. Live results and updated viewership statistics are available on the EWC Hub.
