Esports Foundation adds AKOG Hotel jacket to EWC 2026 line
The Esports Foundation will sell a Player’s Jacket designed with AKOG Hotel as part of a Paris-themed Esports World Cup 2026 collection; a limited public colorway follows a 2025 release.
The Esports Foundation has added a Player’s Jacket designed with AKOG Hotel to its Paris-themed Esports World Cup 2026 collection. The jacket was originally awarded only to players who qualify for the tournament. A public version was released in 2025 and the foundation plans a second public release in a limited 2026 colorway that differs from the player-only edition.
The EWC26 Paris Collection draws on Toile de Jouy, a French decorative textile style. For this release the pattern was adapted to include tournament imagery such as the EWC Trophy and the Eiffel Tower. The full collection is available through the EWC online shop and at the Fan Fest in Paris, and additional pieces will be released during the tournament’s seven-week run.
Demand for a retail version rose after Cristiano Ronaldo was photographed wearing the jacket. The foundation noted the player jacket remains a signature item for competitors while public editions offer fans a way to connect with the event’s visual identity.
AKOG Hotel is not a lodging business. It is a creative offshoot of German clothing label A KIND OF GUISE that focuses on lifestyle and collaborative design projects.
The Esports Foundation will host Esports Leaders, an executive gathering at the five-star Hôtel du Collectionneur in Paris during the closing days of the Esports World Cup. The event will bring together senior decision-makers from across esports and gaming.
The AKOG Hotel partnership is one of several apparel deals announced by the foundation this year. The organisation confirmed a partnership with Adidas for the Esports Nations Cup, with Adidas serving as official kit partner and Global Partner and supplying uniforms for all national teams. The foundation has already revealed the official France jersey for that tournament.
Mohammad Al Nimer, Chief Commercial Officer of the Esports Foundation, commented that “The world’s biggest sporting events are remembered through the moments they create and the symbols they leave behind,” and said the collection was inspired by Paris and aimed at players, clubs and communities.
