ESIC suspended Savelii “jmqa” Bragin pending an investigation after Eclipse player Rasmus “Pihl” Pihl shared a screenshot of Discord messages that allegedly offered to throw matches.

Savelii “jmqa” Bragin has been placed on interim suspension by the Esports Integrity Commission while it investigates suspected breaches of the ESIC Anti-Corruption Code linked to communications attributed to Bragin.

A screenshot shared on X by Eclipse player Rasmus “Pihl” Pihl shows a Discord user identified as jmqa6479 approaching Pihl with an offer to throw matches.

ESIC’s statement reads: “The available material includes direct communications in which Mr Bragin appears to solicit or encourage another Participant to engage in conduct inconsistent with the principles of fair competition.” The statement adds the suspension is a “protective measure and does not constitute a final determination of guilt.”

The commission has opened a formal inquiry requiring production of communications, financial records and other materials relevant to the investigation. The organization did not provide a timeline or specify whether other players or teams are under review.

Bragin is best known for his time with Quantum Bellator Fire, which reached the ELEAGUE Major 2018 quarter-finals. He has been without a team since 2021 and his last recorded match on HLTV took place in September 2024.

The interim suspension bars Bragin from participating in ESIC-sanctioned competitions while the investigation continues. Further action will depend on the outcome of the inquiry and any evidence produced by the parties involved.
