Dziugss tops 31 graduates from Season 2 Prospects

The Season 2 Prospects ranking released its list of 31 graduates. Dziugss (Džiugas Steponavičius) finished as the top prospect after surpassing the 50 Big Event map threshold following FUT’s Bucharest title run.

Players leave the prospects list either by reaching map-count thresholds at higher-level events or by turning 21. Of the 31 graduates, 12 reached the top 10 at some point, nine peaked inside the top 30 and ten finished among the top 50. Among the 12 who reached the top 10, seven exited after playing more than 50 Big Event maps, one after over 100 Top 30 maps, one after more than 300 Top 50 maps, and three aged out at 21.

The season began with Ninjas in Pyjamas’ Kacper “xKacpersky” Gabara as the highest-ranked prospect through March. Dziugss overtook him in April after FUT’s Bucharest victory and later cleared the 50 Big Event map threshold that removes players from the prospect pool. FUT teammates who also graduated include Dmytro “dem0n” Myroshnychenko (peak #2), Aulon “Krabeni” Fazlija (peak #6) and Nikita “cmtry” Samolotov (peak #8).

Vladislav “xiELO” Lysov of PARIVISION reached #3 early in the year and graduated after hitting the Big Event map threshold. Emil “nota” Moskvitin rose to #7 around BLAST Bounty Season 1 before losing form and being benched in June; he also left after reaching Big Event map counts. Anarbileg “cobrazera” Uuganbayar peaked at #4 and left the list after surpassing 50 Big Event maps; he is currently benched by The MongolZ. William “sirah” Kjærsgaard moved past 325 Top 50 maps while competing for 100 Thieves and thus graduated, while teammate Alex “poiii” Nyholm Sundgren, with less previous experience, remains eligible.

Three players left the ranking by turning 21: João “koala” Pfeffer (peak #8), Nikita “tenzy” Kochenyuk (peak #9) and Adam “adamb” Ångström (peak #9). Mid-range graduates include Alan “flayy” Krupa, who made nine appearances and peaked at #13, and Adam “Grizz” Golden (peak #20), Andreas “aNdu” Maasing (peak #21), Daniil “Sdaim” Tupov (peak #25), Vladislav “Alv” Vorokhobov (peak #26), Jacob “jocab” Nerheden (peak #27) and Italo “ksloks” Meinberg (peak #28).

Nikita “jackasmo” Skyba exits after five appearances and a #17 peak, having logged 352 Top 50 maps while competing in tier two with Passion UA and fnatic. Danylo “s1zzi” Vinnyk appeared twice this season with B8, reached a personal best of #24 and recorded 74 Top 20 maps since February.

The lower third of the top 50 is populated mainly by players who aged out at 21, with many from Asia and the Americas. Nicky “NickyB” Bruhn, Yalalt “yAmi” Oyunbileg and Jaxon “Peeping” Cornwell each made five appearances; Lautaro “guty” Gomez appeared four times. Guilherme “levi” Gustavo and Maks “laxiee” Andryei had three appearances; Ozzy “blood” Rose and Henrique “Machado” Amaral had two; James “SaVage” Savage and Evgeny “Djon8” Mudrenov each made a single appearance.

The seasonal prospects ranking removes players who meet map-count thresholds for Big Events, Top 30 or Top 50 competition. The next season’s first Prospects ranking will be published in the coming days.
