Dplus KIA reopens official online store after outage

Dplus KIA reopened its official online store on July 20, saying logistics operations have stabilised and scheduled system maintenance is complete. The organisation resumed order processing after the shop was offline for an unspecified period.

In a notice on its official Twitter (X) account, Dplus KIA apologised for the disruption and thanked fans for their patience. The team said service interruptions had caused some orders to be cancelled and had prevented some customers from completing purchases.

To compensate affected customers, the organisation will issue one unconditional discount coupon per account that experienced cancelled orders. Dplus KIA also extended its Family Sale promotion; the discounted items will be available from July 20 through July 27. The team advised shoppers to check the Family Sale section of the store for a list of included products, noting that not all items are discounted.

The store reopening follows recent disclosures about broader financial and administrative issues at Dplus KIA. The organisation confirmed player salaries across its rosters, including its League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) team, were delayed by one month. Dplus KIA attributed the payroll delay to cash-flow constraints tied to administrative holdups while finalising a deal with a prospective majority owner.

Dplus KIA has engaged a professional mergers-and-acquisitions advisory firm to handle the sale process and said it is in advanced talks with a primary potential buyer while continuing discussions with other interested parties. The organisation said the extended vetting and negotiation period strained available cash and contributed to the delayed payments.

The team did not explicitly link the online store outage to the payroll delay; both issues surfaced during the ownership transition. Order processing has resumed and customers can use issued coupons during the Family Sale period.
