Dastan urges patience as Parivision targets tier-1 stability

Parivision beat 100 Thieves in a straight two-map series at the Esports World Cup on Friday. Evgenii “FL1T” Lebedev was in the lineup after off-season changes prompted by falling individual performances.

The coach said the team prepared for ten days after a disappointing best-of-one result earlier in the event. The win provided momentum ahead of Parivision’s qualification match against MOUZ on Sunday, the first meeting between the teams since PGL Cluj-Napoca 2026.

Dastan explained the summer roster adjustments were performance-driven. Emil “nota” Moskvitin and Andrey “BELCHONOKK” Yasinskiy were removed after declines in fragging and kill impact. He framed the changes as non-confrontational and predicted both players could return to form with time in new environments.

The addition of FL1T was described as an attempt to add experience and game sense. Dastan said he had considered signing the veteran for about a year but timing and prior roster stability delayed the move. He noted FL1T has not played official matches for roughly six months and will need time to adapt to the current meta: “Even FL1T needs some time to understand better what’s happening around because he also didn’t play officials for half a year.”

Dastan outlined plans for developing younger players, singling out 18-year-old slaxejezzz. He praised the player’s raw aim but pointed to inexperience on maps such as Inferno and Cache and limited exposure to international events. The coach said the player must take a larger role in in-game communication and expects visible progress over six to 12 months: “He’s very calm. He just needs to upgrade his voice in the team in what he thinks, what’s happening, and call more.”

On the upcoming match, Dastan labeled MOUZ the favorite based on recent form and a recent event title. He said recent upsets elsewhere in the bracket have helped Parivision’s confidence and that a day off before the qualifier will allow focused preparation. He expects a close contest and noted a difference in experience levels between the squads.

Parivision’s stated objectives for the season are to qualify for the Major without late pressure, accumulate enough points to feel secure for autumn events, consistently reach playoffs and secure event invites. Dastan said patience will be necessary while younger players gain the match experience needed to close the gap with more seasoned teams.
