British Army Esports wins C.O.D.E. Bowl VII

British Army Esports captured the C.O.D.E. Bowl VII trophy during the Call of Duty Endowment livestream in June 2026, defeating teams from the United States and Canada to claim the British Army’s first C.O.D.E. Bowl title.

Squads represented the Army, Navy and Air Force from the UK, US and Canada. Early rounds consisted of Warzone matches between the military teams; the broadcast later featured content creators.

The tournament supports the Call of Duty Endowment’s veteran employment work. Founded in 2009 by Activision Blizzard, the Endowment reports it has helped place 169,000 veterans into civilian jobs. The C.O.D.E. Bowl is one of the organisation’s main annual fundraising and awareness events.

Individual awards included the Monster Energy MVP ring, won by Gibbo and determined by eliminations, kill/death ratio, placements and clutch plays. OpTic player TeeP won the Solo Yolo free-for-all event for the second time.

Previous C.O.D.E. Bowl winners include the Royal Air Force in 2025 and 2022, the U.S. Space Force in 2020, the Canadian Armed Forces in 2023 and the U.S. Army in 2024.

The event combined casual and competitive formats and brought service members together while raising funds and attention for veteran transition programmes.
