Brazil’s VCT Americas 2027 Qualifiers Start Nov. 5

Brazil’s qualification process for VCT Americas Kickoff 2027 will begin Nov. 5, 2026, with two open qualifiers. The winner of the national playoff stage will earn Brazil’s direct place at Kickoff in São Paulo.

The first open qualifier will run Nov. 5-7 and Nov. 9. The second is scheduled for Nov. 12-14 and Nov. 16. Both will use single-elimination brackets with best-of-three matches. At least four teams from each qualifier will advance to the playoff stage.

The 16-team playoff field will start with a Swiss stage from Nov. 20-22. Teams will need two wins to advance, with eight teams moving into a double-elimination bracket. That bracket will be played Nov. 26-29 and Dec. 3-6, with the Brazilian final set for Dec. 6.

Riot Games has not announced how many playoff places will go to invited teams. Invitations are expected to include organizations that competed in VCT Americas in 2026 without retaining partner status, along with leading teams from Challengers and Game Changers competitions.

The Brazilian playoff runner-up will enter the Americas Last Chance Qualifier in São Paulo on Dec. 17-18. It will compete against the runners-up from North America and Latin America. The three teams will play a best-of-three round robin on Dec. 17, followed by a best-of-five final between the top two on Dec. 18. The winner will claim the final Kickoff qualification place.

Teams can register through the Gamers Club VALORANT tournament page. Registration for the first qualifier runs from Oct. 20 through Nov. 2. Registration for the second opens Oct. 28 and closes Nov. 9. The events will be listed as VCT Americas Kickoff Brazil Qualifiers #1 and #2.

Players must be at least 17 years old and have reached Ascendant rank or higher within the six months before the competition. Teams that advance to international matches must have valid travel documents, including passports and any required visas.

VCT Americas Kickoff 2027 will run in São Paulo from Jan. 14 through Feb. 7. Eight partner teams will receive direct invitations. Four other teams will qualify through regional competition: one from Brazil, one from North America, one from Latin America and one through the Americas LCQ. Non-partner organizations that qualify will receive $100,000 under Riot’s VCT 2027 qualification payment system and remain eligible for tournament prize money.
