BLAST Slam VII runs May 26–June 7, 2026, with 12 Dota 2 teams competing for $1 million. Groups and LCQ are online; playoffs are at BLAST Studio Copenhagen.
BLAST Slam VII will take place May 26–June 7, 2026, bringing 12 Dota 2 teams into a $1 million event staged online and on LAN. The group stage and Last Chance Qualifier will be played remotely, and the playoffs will be held at the BLAST Studio in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Competition opens with an online group stage from May 26 to 29. The format is a single round robin with best-of-one matches. The top two teams advance to the upper-bracket semifinals of the playoffs, third and fourth move to the upper-bracket quarterfinals, places five through ten drop into the Last Chance Qualifier, and the bottom two are eliminated.
The Last Chance Qualifier is set for May 30 in an online best-of-three bracket. Two teams will secure playoff berths and enter the upper-bracket quarterfinals. All other LCQ teams will exit the event.
Playoffs run June 4–7 from the BLAST Studio in Copenhagen in a double-elimination bracket. Most matches are best-of-three, and the grand final is a best-of-five series.
Twelve teams are confirmed. Direct invitations went to Team Liquid, BB Team, Tundra Esports, Team Falcons, Team Spirit, Team YNDX, OG and ex-HEROIC. Four teams qualified through regional events: Aurora Gaming and PV from Europe, Xtreme Gaming from China and GLYPH from Southeast Asia.
The prize pool totals $1,000,000, split between $750,000 in tournament winnings and $250,000 in fixed Team Earnings. The champion will receive $300,000 in winnings and $100,000 in Team Earnings. The runner-up is set for $150,000 plus $45,000. Third place pays $70,000 plus $23,000, and fourth pays $50,000 plus $17,000. Fifth and sixth place teams will collect $40,000 plus $15,000 each. Seventh and eighth pay $25,000 plus $10,000. Ninth and tenth award $15,000 plus $5,000, and 11th and 12th pay $10,000 plus $2,500.
BLAST Slam VII keeps the three-stage structure used in prior editions, combining a best-of-one round robin and a best-of-three LCQ to seed a LAN playoff bracket in Copenhagen.
