BLAST and Ubisoft announced the BLAST R6 Major Osaka 2026, scheduled for Nov. 6–15 at ATC Hall in Osaka. The event will feature 20 teams competing for a total prize pool of $600,000.
The tournament will be held at ATC Hall, a convention venue near Universal Studios Japan and the Kaiyukan Aquarium. Organizers noted the tournament is the first top-level international Rainbow Six Siege LAN in Japan and the wider APAC region since the Pro League Season 10 Finals in Tokoname, Aichi, in November 2019.
Per the current format, 16 teams will begin in a Swiss Stage, with the top eight advancing to a double-elimination playoff bracket. Most playoff matches will be best-of-three series and the grand final will be a best-of-five.
Qualification pathways are still being finalized. Teams are expected to earn spots through regional leagues covering Europe/MENA, North America, South America, APAC, Japan and China. Final qualification details will be published ahead of the event.
Tickets will go on presale beginning June 8, 2026. Fans can register for updates and ticket notifications through Ubisoft’s official esports page using a Ubisoft account.
The Osaka Major is part of the 2026/27 competitive season under the renewed BLAST–Ubisoft partnership, extended through the 2028/29 season. The season calendar also includes the BLAST R6 Major Salt Lake City, held in May 2026, and the Six Invitational 2027 scheduled for Brazil in February. Organizers will release additional information on team invitations, regional qualifiers and match schedules as the event approaches.
